Admission Procedure of M.Tech

The individual candidate who wants to take admission in the M.Tech level course of the engineering stream has to appear for a written entrance exam called GATE (Graduation Amplitude Test Examination). The examination is conducted on a yearly basis for those pass out B.Tech candidates who want to spursue higher studies in this field. The candidates who have secured the highest of ranks are allotted seats that are available in various engineering colleges in India.

Also, in some of the colleges, the candidates are given direct admission based on their over all marks in all the eight semesters that span for four years. These institutes are offering this course at a price. The colleges are admitting these candidates after taking donation from them. The students of such stature are known as Management quota students.
